The SKoop Podcast, in partnership with Saskatoon-based Insightrix, released exclusive new polling results today on three areas of interest in Saskatchewan politics. The SKoop will be partnering with Insightrix quarterly going forward to present polling results to The SKoop's listeners as the 2024 Saskatchewan election approaches.
Using participants of their SaskWatch research panel, Insightrix polled 803 Saskatchewan residents in early January as part of a monthly omnibus survey. The sample size is representative of Saskatchewan's population and the margin of error is estimated to be +/- 3.5% 19 times out of 20.
Question 1 will be a baseline for The SKoop going forward: "How would you rate the overall performance of the provincial government over the past month?"
Recently there has been a lot of talk about regionalism. The SKoop was interested in how residents in Saskatchewan identify themselves as first in terms of regionalism: as a Canadian, a Saskatchewanian, or a western Canadian.
Finally, Saskatchewan residents were asked about health care and how people are thinking about current challenges in the health care system.
